Hi everybody! Here we are again!
This last week has been amazing! I'm a student at LDS Business College now, starting this Fall semester, and since I started last month I've been applying for jobs on campus, because this is the only way I can work here (and also to get my Social Security Number - like a CPF in Brazil). I have had some interviews, but didn't receive any offer. Unitl this week!
I applied for a position on the GSC Application team. They said they did like me and my experience, but they also did not approve me. Instead, they sent my resume to a different manager, who was opening a position on the GSC Hardware and Operating Systems team, which is more related to my experience and background. I was called to an interview last Tuesday, and after the interview they offered me the position! I'll be starting next Monday, October 31st (Halloween huuuuu), and I'm really really really excited, grateful and happy about that! It will be a real challenge, but I'm sure it is a blessing provided by the Lord!
I was planning to talk about Halloween this week, but could not go without sharing this amazing experience and blessing that we have received.
Halloween will happen only in two days, but it is amazing how people see this holiday here in US. So next week I'll talk about how great our first Halloween experience has been, especially for our kids. Here is a little preview:
See you next week.

Weather and Seasons in Utah!
Hi all! How are you all doing?
This last week the weather here in Utah is getting a little colder, and it is not even winter yet! Everybody says that winter here is really really cold, that we can't imagine how it is, so we are preparing ourselves for the it!
We are excited to see snow outside the mountains!! When we got here our friend Spencer took us to the mountains to see snow for the first time, and it was really nice! But winter was already finished and that was the only place we could see snow at that time.
One incredible thing about this place is that the seasons here are really separated, a little different from Sao Paulo, in Brazil! When summer started, the weather got really hot! And there was no cold day during all season! When fall started, weather was not so hot anymore, and it is incredible to see the trees colors and the leaves falling! Really really beautiful!
We are loving this place! It is not that easy to be away from our country, but we are enjoying every minute of this experience!
See you next week!

Meet our baby Matheus
Hi there! Here we are again!
Today I would like to show you a little bit about our baby Matheus. He was born in last March, after a very hard time for his mom during all her pregnancy period. She found out she was pregnant on my birthday in 2015, a little less than 3 months after we lost a baby in a previous 5-month pregnancy. The same day she found out she almost lost this one too and needed to go to the hospital. After a ultrasound exam, the doctor on call said that she should not have any hope on having this new baby, because it had 99% chances of not going forward at anytime.
She cried a lot, after all she was going through the same thing all over again in less than 3 months. But she received a Priesthood blessing and followed her doctor (not the on call) instructions, took the medicine he prescribed and started a bed-rest with no forecast to finish.
We had a doctor appointment once a week, and it happened for about 4 months, and only then she started to have a monthly appointment. But after going through the fear of losing another baby and after seeing a real miracle provided by the power of God through His Priesthood power, she could go through all 9-month period, and now our little baby is already 7 months old and is starting to crawl. We are really grateful to have this miracle in our lives, and we are also very impressed of how time is flying and how smart he is, just like his siblings were at his age!
This video is to show our gratitude and happiness for having him with us! It is in Portuguese, but there is no need for translation! :)
Hope you guys enjoy!

Hello everyone! Here we are again!
My wife Jacqueline and I are very happy to be here in the United States. Especially because of our children! They are attending school and learning the English language, and it is so good to see their development and how they are enjoying everything! I'm so happy to see them being successful and learning how to face their challenges and problems!
Every week they have in-class Spelling Tests, and this last week Rebecca was the only one to receive an A in her class!
Thiago had a great challenge this week also! He had to recite a poem in English by memory, and he did a really good job! He was so happy because his teacher said he did it really well and is progressing so much in so short time! This is the poem he recited in class:
We recorded him reciting the poem, and I would like to share with all of you:
What did you thing of his reciting?
They are really happy! And we are so proud!
See you next week!

Apple Tree Poem
Way up high,
in the apple tree.
Two red apples smiled at me.
I shook that tree,
as hard as I could!
Down came the apples
Oh!
Were they good!

The Neves' are back!
Well, after more than 7 years, I'm back here to my family blog! I confess that it seems hard to bring it back online, but I'm excited with this challenge I received from my Social Media Marketing class in college, and will work hard to make a new post every week during the semester!
7 years have passed, and a lot of things have happened! Our family has grown and we are now in 5! After my last post we were blessed with Thiago, who was born in November, 2009! And after 6 years, we were blessed with a new baby, Matheus, who was born 7 months ago, in March, 2016!
This is our family now:
Another important thing to tell now is that after Matheus was born, we moved to the United Stated, and we are now living in West Jordan, Utah. I'm attending the LDS Business College, and our plan is to stay here in US for at least 4 years. Our children are already going to school and are learning to speak English, which will be a great blessing for them! We are really excited and happy with our decision to move up here, and the experiences we have been having so far have proved to us that the Lord wants us to be here! And when we get back to Brazil, we want to work hard and help others to have this experience also!
So, we hope you like our old-new blog! This time everything will be in English, so even those from Brazil can practice a little bit and improve their English as well! :)
See you next week!

1 ANINHO!!!!!!!

Niver do Papai!!! 2.8 Zerado!!!!!!!!!!

9 Meses
Ontem a Rebecca completou 9 meses!!
